Jamie Lidell captures changes in life on Compass

The soul on Jamie Lidell's third studio album Jim (2008) was highly successful in the Netherlands, particularly because of radio hit Another Day. The new album Compass is more experimental and deals with some major changes in the life of 'Englishman in New York' Lidell. "I had a lot on my mind, and I took to writing that stuff down."
