[SLS] Final Shuttle Engines Moved from Kennedy to Stennis for SLS

The last of the RS -25D space shuttle main engines departed NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida for NASA's Stennis Space Center in Mississippi on April 9. The engines were rotated to the horizontal position on March 28 and installed in their shipping containers on April 4. The engines will be stored for future use on NASA's new heavy-lift rocket, the Space Launch System (SLS). The SLS will expand human presence beyond low Earth orbit and enable new missions of exploration across the solar system.
