CGRUndertow FREQUENCY for PlayStation 2 Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game review of Frequency for the PlayStation 2, developed by Harmonix. From the developers that would eventually bring us the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, Frequency was their first major video game that utilized similar gameplay, but instead used the PS2 controller to perform various elements of songs. Along with its less mainstream electronic music soundtrack (Juno Reactor, The Crystal Method, Orbital, Paul Oakenfold, Roni Size, Meat Beat Manifesto, No Doubt, and more), mind bending graphics, and innovative uses of online play, Frequency has achieved critical praise and a cult following, and stands strong as an interesting piece in the history of rhythm gaming. This review features Frequency gameplay footage on the PlayStation 2 and commentary from CGR Undertow reviewer Kevin.
