CGRundertow THE LEGEND OF KAGE for Arcade / PS2 Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game review of Legend of Kage originally released for arcades by Taito. Released in arcades in Japan in 1985, this sidescrolling ninja action classic gives you a sword and endless shuriken in a quest to rescue Princess Kiri from an army of evil ninjas and fire breathing monks. It's fast and frantic gameplay would live on in other ports to home computers like the MSX, Commodore 64, and also the NES, but thanks to the Taito Legends 2 compilation we can finally play the great looking and brutually challenging original Japanese version. This review features Legend of Kage gameplay footage from Taito Legends 2 on the Playstation 2 (also available on Xbox and PC) and commentary from CGR Undertow reviewer Kevin.
