Syrian state TV is reporting a suicide attack against a building housing security forces in Damascus, as fighting continues to rage in the Syrian capital.
The regime's opponents say the army has been using helicopters and tanks to bombard rebel districts.
The foreign-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claims more than 60 government soldiers were killed over 48 hours.
