CGRundertow NES GAME SLIP COVER VS. PLASTIC CLAMSHELL CASE! Video Game Accessory Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game accessory review comparing two kinds of cartridge cases for NES games, the thin slip cover and the hard plastic clamshell case. The classic black slip cover case that usually came with the games is pretty easy to come by, and will help keep dust from getting to your cartridge pins, but don't provide much protection beyond that. The hard plastic cases typically used in video rental stores back in the day are much more durable and better for transporting Nintendo games, but take up more storage space. However, to truly decide which case is superior, Kevin officiates a showdown of epic 8-bit proportions inside the underwater base. This review features footage demonstrating the use of the NES game cases and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
