Resistance: Burning Skies review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Resistance: Burning Skies for the Playstation Vita. Released in May, this game was developed by Nihilistic Software and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. You play as a firefighter named Tom Riley who is forced to fight against the Chimera with the hope of seeing his family again. Although the story is pretty standard, the ability to finally play a true FPS on a handheld is definitely here, and the Vita's features are used effectively.
