Professor Layton and the Curious Village review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Professor Layton and the Curious Village from Level-5 and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. This is a puzzle game in which you follow renowned puzzle solver Professor Layton and his apprentice on a mysterious story full of mystery. And puzzles. It's like a point-and-click adventure in that you're walking around the game world and exploring things, and puzzles come about as a result of that. Some of them are required to progress the story, but a lot of them are optional. A lot of them are also hidden, so there's definitely some incentive to look around and meet people.
