Adidas Supports Olympic Sustainability; Men's Wearhouse Gets A-List Celebrity Suits; AOL/Huffington Post Help Colorado Shooting Victims - CSR Minute for July 31, 2012
  • 12 years ago
Adidas is meeting the sustainability requirements of the 2012 Olympics by having specific sustainable content through their Better Place initiative. The program calls for 100 percent of the company’s athletic footwear products to have sustainable content.

Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Hugh Jackman are among the A-list celebrities donating suits to support the Men’s Wearhouse’s fifth annual National Suit Drive to suit up for success. The initiative helps men in need to transition back in the work force by providing professional attire. Today is the last day to donate used professional clothing at the more than 900 Men’s Wearhouse stores.

AOL and the Huffington Post are accepting donations for the relief of shooting victims in Aurora, Colorado. Contributions can be made to the New Venture Fund, a charity that distributes donations to local organizations that support the families of victims, through the Huffington Post Impact/Crowdrise Web site, at http://www.crowdri
