Road-trip and Hike - Escalante, Utah 2012

Road-trip to southern Utah (August 2012). Part of the fun is getting there with the changing landscapes. A well designed home in the heart of Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument, between Escalante and Boulder, Utah - on Scenic Byway 12. Rolling thunderstorms during the seasonal August monsoonal climate. A hike to Lower Calf Creek Falls in Escalante, Utah. Great friends, great home-cooked meals, secluded, remote location, and one of the most Gorgeous Places On Earth.
