Lemonade Stand Gets 14 Corporate Sponsors - as part of the news series by GeoBeats.

It's considered a big deal when event organizers draw in large corporate sponsors because it's hard to reach the right people and you have to go through a lot of hoops.

So it's even more impressive when over a dozen corporate sponsors sign up with a 12-year-old.

Chicago Tribune covered the story of Gabriella Cooperman who has attracted 14 corporate sponsors for her lemonade stand.

Remarkably, Gabriella gives away all of her proceeds to the Equestrian Connection which provides horse therapy to individuals with disabilities. Her younger sister has seen benefits through this therapy program and Gabriella wanted to help others take advantage of the therapeutic services as well.

The list of the sponsors includes ConAgra Mills that gave away nearly 200 bags of flour and the Chicago Bears who donated an autographed football.

Gabriella's lemonade stand has been a huge success. Chicago Tribune notes that last year, she donated $6,000, sold about 5000 cookies and 100 gallons of lemonade.

What's the best example of someone making a big impact with limited resources you have come across?
