Battling Mexico's illegal logging trade
Residents in the Mexican town of Cheran have taken up arms against illegal loggers.

They say the authorities are corrupt and have done nothing to stop loggers stripping the local pine forest of trees.

The economy of Cheran, a town of 17,000 people, relies on this forest.

Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from Cheran.
