Sid Meier's Civilization IV review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sid Meier's Civilization IV for PC. One of my personal pet peeves is the use of an author's possessive leading directly into an article, like Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. Just sounds dissonant to the ear. Fortunately, Sid Meier has forgone that linguistic ugliness, and chosen instead to give us a noun and a number. That's it. And said noun and number combine to form... well, the basis for human technological advancement and civilization. Because FDR is cool, but FDR with WAR ELEPHANTS is a force to be reckoned with.
