EU concensus on tougher Syrian sanctions

With Damascus and Aleppo still trembling with heavy fighting this Saturday Cyprus, the current EU presiding nation, says a consensus has been reached for tightening of EU sanctions.
Aid has already been increased for nations welcoming refugees and will be arriving in "the coming weeks and months", and there were promises of more for countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan.
