CGRundertow SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE for Nintendo GameCube Video Game Review

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the Nintendo GameCube. Sonic Adventure introduced us to a fully-fledged 3D Sonic Game, but it was more than putting the blue blur in a 3D realm; voice acting was introduced and more intricate stories were used. While your thoughts on Sonic in a highly sophisticated tale may be on the negative side, it was a concept that hadn't been attempted before with Sega's mascot, and one that showed how Sega wanted to dare the convention of the 'Sonic Game'. Sonic Adventure 2 continued that trend, improving on a lot of aspects of the original, and making things a little more accessible for players. Removing the HUB levels and creating a story the Good and Bad guys (versus a story for each character), and it resulted in a really fun game that, for a lot of us, was our first 3D Sonic game. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is the re-release of the DreamCast version of the same game on Nintendo's GameCube, only 8 months after the original had hit store shelves. Sonic and Mario put aside their differences and shook hands when Sonic made his Nintendo GameCube debut in this release from 2002. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Jonathan.
