Apocalypse Max: Better Dead Than Undead review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Apocalypse Max: Better Dead Than Undead from Wandake for the iPhone. Apocalypse Max is a beautiful iOS action platformer, and the gameplay is spot on. You play as Max, a guy who learned his moves from his Shank and his style from Resident Evil's HUNK. Zombies have taken over the world, and it's Max's job to exterminate them. You play with pretend buttons on the touch screen, which works surprisingly well, and the platforming feels just right.
