Capcom’s ‘Resident Evil’ games can be described as gruesome and gory.

So it shouldn’t be too surprising that publicity for October’s release of ‘Resident Evil 6’ was a little graphic. Capcom partnered with a food artist named, Sharon Baker to open a human butcher shop located in London’s Smithfield Meat Market.

The display consisted of raw meat that was molded to appear like human body parts.

A spokesperson stated “The key thing for us is to make it look authentic. We really wanted to make it look like a butcher shop”. Profits from the ‘human’ meat sales went to the Limbless Association, a non-profit organization that assists those who have lost their limbs.

The promotion ran for two days, beginning on Friday, September 28th. Customers of the fictional butcher shop could purchase meat offerings titled ‘Peppered Human & Lemon Sausages’ or ‘J’avo Caught Human Thigh Steaks’. Mixologists were also brought in for the event, creating cocktails like ‘Stool Sample’.
