It's important to determine the intended usage of a car before you choose the parts. In the case of the 1969 Ford Mustang called the BOSS 302.0, the owner wanted a comfortable driving car on the street, but also a competent performer on a road course or autocross track. To accomplish this, we chose the new Detroit Speed and Engineering Aluma-Frame front suspension and QUADRALink rear suspension systems. The Aluma-Frame is a rigid aluminum subframe that mounts a tubular suspension system that incorporates revised suspension geometry, strong tubular control arms, Corvette spindles, tunable shock absorbers, and a splined swaybar. The combination of these pieces and the revised geometry deliver excellent driving manners on both city streets and high-speed twisty conditions. This video shows the installation of the entire front suspension system. Be sure to check out the entire BOSS 302.0 build photo gallery at http://www.v8tvshow.com/boss .
