LSA Powered 1969 Camaro Lou's Change Engine Install Video V8TV

In this chapter of the Lou's Change 1969 Camaro build, the V8 Speed and Resto shop crew is installing the LSA Engine into the Detroit Speed subframe, and then the subframe to the car. The challenges included making sure the ZL-1 supercharger hat would fit under the stock hood, and then how to fit the air conditioning compressor on the engine, as the DSE subframe requires a high-mount compressor. The LSA does not. The Detroit speed headers left plenty of room, but our crew needed to fabricate some brackets and notch the subframe. We also installed a Jones Racing Products steering reservoir for a dual power steering return line set up as needed by the Hydratech hydraulic brake booster. A Holley LS engine swap oil pan is being used for better ground clearance.
