Coming up today on Nick's Gaming View: Plans for Assassin's Creed 3 DLC announced, Resident Evil 6 hit with a terror of negative feedback, and Justin Bieber makes his appearance in upcoming sports title, THIS IS NICK'S GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick's Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. The long awaited October 30th Ubisoft release, Assassin's Creed III, has once again sparked the debate over having DLC announced before the release of a video game title by announcing and sharing details regarding it's Season Pass slated for delivery within the first six months of release. As a package, the DLC package will include, The Tyranny of King Washington, a new campaign chapter that will take place among three episodic packs along with new maps and characters that will integrate within the game's multiplayer mode. By purchasing the Season Pass for Assassin 's Creed 3 at the price of $24.99 on PlayStation Network or 2,400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, gamers will receive the downloadable content one week early and save 25% off the individual pricing. While the idea of extending the experience of an incredible gaming adventure is always welcome, the fact that Ubisoft is already planning the rollout of DLC before its release seems to be unsettling for many fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Another one of 2012's most anticipated software releases, Resident Evil 6, has underwent a terror of negative feedback from numerous media outlets reporting the experience to be repetitive, lacking effort, and filled with confusing story elements. With word reaching the producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, a calm, unconcerned response was received stating, "We want to make sure that what we do pleases them but the initial reaction might not always be positive." Kobayashi continued by revealing "We do listen to the fans but we can't be beholden to them at every turn or I don't think we'll ever make progress in terms of the series 'development'". While I have yet to play the final version of Resident Evil 6, the response from Kobayashi seems to oppose that of Bioware's when the ending of Mass Effect 3 was negatively put down and Bioware gave into the community.

To top off negative interactions within the video game industry, Justin Bieber will be making an appearance on a video game console close to you. The 5'7" 130lb pop star singer recently tweeted an announcement of his presence within 2K Games' latest basketball release, NBA 2K13. Not quite sure about the demographic mix here, but one thing is for certain, the player design for the Biebs is quite comical. Despite the singer's short and skinny appearance, a recent video showcasing Justin Bieber on the court makes him appear to have a similar body shape and style of your standard basketball player. Not quite sure how fans of the NBA 2K series will welcome the pop teen sensation on the court, but it should be quite interesting to see how his skills stack up to those of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Well, that's all I've got for you guys today, but stay tuned to Nick's Gaming View for your daily access pass for all things gaming.
