Paris deputy mayor resigns over money laundering allegations

France's Green party is facing a major embarrassment after one of its politicians was charged for her alleged role in one the country's largest ever money-laundering cases.

Florence Lamblin, who is deputy mayor of Paris' 13th Arrondissment, was one of 20 people arrested in France and Switzerland this week.

French news sites claim police found almost 400,000 euros at Lamblin's home.
