You explore a ship that has fallen victim to a T-Virus outbreak in a behind the shoulder view but the game switches to a first person light-gun view when entering combat. These changes create a unique experience that foreshadowed big changes for the Resident Evil series. With its mix of survival horror and action, it is clear that the Resident Evil series was in for a major shift.
