Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time for Sony PSP. When you think old-school, a number of traits come to mind. This Growlanser title, a PSP port of a PS2 RPG, uses a forward-thinking real-time battle system and tactical mobility on a map, blended with OLD SCHOOL character design. Big, pastel-colored hair. Men with shoulders about two yards wide. Everything about the aesthetic screams 1995, not 2005, and certainly not 2012. But man, if it isn't a breath of fresh air.
