The Albion class includes the Cabalist, Armsman, Cleric, Friar, Infiltrator, Heretic, Mercenary, Mauler, Minstrel, Paladin, Necromancer, Scout, Reaver, Wizard, Theurgist and the Nightshade. The Hibernia in the Dark Age of Camelot account for the Animist, Bainshee, Blademaster, Bard, Champion, Druid, Enchanter, Eldritch, Hero, Mauler, Nightshade, Mentalist, Ranger, Warden, Vampiir and Valewalker. The Midgard Subgroup includes Berserker, Bonedancer, Hunter, Healer, Mauler, Runemaster, Shadowblade, Savage, Shaman, Skald, Thane, Spiritmaster, Valkyrie, Warrior and Warlock.
The characters under the tank class are purely close ranged fighters with no ability to deal with ranged damage. However they wear the heaviest armors and can cast spell for crowd control thus reducing the enemy’s effectiveness. The melee classes in the Dark Age of Camelot account for division into light and heavy tanks. As evident, the heavy tanks impose the maximum damage on the enemy terrain. They have two handed weapons to indulge in RvR fights and one handed shields for the PvE game play. Lighter tanks have the weapons with dual wield, have the second most heavy armor and can impose maximum damage next to the heavy tanks. In RvR the light tanks are also functional to limit the crowd. Hero, Warrior and Armsman are examples of heavy tanks. Blademaster, Berserker, Savage and Mercenary are of the lighter variety.
Dark Age of Camelot account for high damages. This is in regards to the Casting Classes. Although having low hit points and light armors, the casters can cast effective spells to control enemy crowds. In RvR’s these spells can however be interrupted and are quick targets. The main power of the casters is controlling ‘pet’ allies and DoTs (Damage over time spells). They also are capable of direct damage and PBAE (Point blank area spells). Animist, Bainshee, Cabalist, Eldritch, Bonedancer, Enchanter, Mentalist, Runemaster, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Spiritmaster, Theurgist, Wizard and Warlock are the caster characters.
The main weapon of the Stealth classes is imposing invisible attacks. They hide themselves when within the enemy territories and leak out information out of their bases. They can also choose to attack giving up their invisible cloak. The rogues in Dark Age of Camelot account for the assassin and archers. Assassins are able to make quick kills and invisible attacks. Their Critical Strike imposes huge damage in the enemy frontiers. Assassins use poisons to render their enemies helpless. They weaken their opponents using status effects. Depending on the battle situation archers can impose long range elemental and physical damages. Hunter, Infiltrator, Ranger, Scout, Shadowblade and Nightshade are stealth attackers.
