A sneak peek video of a new study on "Fiber orientation visualization and analysis" that was prepared for and presented at the Conference on Industrial Computed Tomography (ICT) 2012 (Wels, Austria / Sept 19-21, 2012).
The application of fiber orientation, visualization, fiber orientation simplification, and its evaluation were applied on an Ultra-High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) which is used for the on-site repair of bridges in Slovenia.
The image processing, fiber separation, orientation calculation, and visualization have been done by using Avizo Fire 3D analysis software.
