Classic Game Room reviews FLASH GORDON the video game from 1983 by 20th Century Fox games loosely based on the 1980 Flash Gordon movie starring Sam J. Jones, Timothy Dalton and Max Von Sydow. While the movie's sountrack from Queen is sadly missing from the videogame, old school gamers will enjoy the Defender inspired gameplay and colorful cartridge artwork. Shoot enemies with the space ship, explore caverns and save people (?? maybe ??), Flash Gordon is fun arcade style gaming with a movie license slapped on top of a Defender clone. Play the Flash Gordon music in the background as you rack up points and save the universe! Flash, AHHHHAHHHHHH!!!!! Savior of the Universe!
