Details on Bungie’s upcoming video game leaked, Bethesda officially announces recent release as a franchise, and Take-Two Interactive announces Grand Theft Auto milestone, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Bungie’s ongoing project titled Destiny has been given light thanks to leaked information in regards to the story of the upcoming release. According to the leaked document from the advertising agency behind the game “Our story begins seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System littered with the ruins of man’s Golden Age. A massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second Moon. No one knows where it came from or what it’s here for, but only that it’s our protector. Meanwhile, strange, alien monsters creep in from the edge of the universe, determined to take Earth and the Last City.” Said to be fun and accessible to all, it will be interesting to see how Bungie develops the universe after its exit from the Halo franchise, so stay tuned to Nick’s Gaming View as the moment I receive any more information, I will be sure to deliver it to you, the viewers.

Until then, Bethesda has announced that their recent release, Dishonored, has far exceeded their sales expectations as the #1 selling title over the holiday weekend. Because of this, Bethesda has stated, “We clearly have a new franchise.” With great feedback received on the new IP, the many fans of the recent release have yet another title to look forward to as Dishonored 2 prepares for development, although I highly doubt we will see its appearance on the current Sony and Microsoft consoles.

Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, Take-Two Interactive’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has announced a monumental milestone for the Grand Theft Auto series stating the franchise that began on Microsoft Windows and the original PlayStation has surpassed 125 million copies shipped with Grand Theft Auto 4 reaching 25 million. Not many companies have the opportunity to state such numbers, but then again, how many developers and publishers are able to deliver such quality within each and every release?
