New Super Mario Bros. U video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video review of New Super Mario Bros. U from Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii U. New Super Mario Bros. U is so reminiscent of Super Mario World—and even Super Mario Bros. 3, to an extent—that if you grew up playing those classics, you'll immediately fall for this one. As retro-inspired as Mario U is, however, it also suggests Nintendo is finally interested in progressing 2D Mario design, as well. This game has some of the best Mario levels in years. Maybe decades.
