For the third season of Showtime's "United States of Tara," I was commissioned to direct this short-within-the-show, using puppet-models, and "written" by the teenager character Marshall to challenge his father Max. In the episode, Marshall secretly records his father's voice for the short, which wins an award at a film festival, making Max furious and forcing him to publicly realize his culpability in the family's problems.
