Gears of War: Judgment OverRun demo to go public, Madden NFL predicts winner of SuperBowl XLVII, and Killzone’s PlayStation Vita debut to redefine the potential of the device, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Microsoft’s last blockbuster release for the Xbox 360 known to the public, Gears of War: Judgment, is set to finally become available for play to the public in demo form showcasing its new OverRun mode. Going public the same day as its retail release on March 19th, Xbox 360 owners will finally have the opportunity to test out what may be the last of the Gears of War franchise, but for those who pre-order the prequel from GameStop, access will be granted on March 15th. While CliffyB is no longer with Epic Games, its clear the entire design and creative aspect of the game was still driven by the father behind the franchise, so I’m pretty confident come March 19th all Xbox 360 owners are in for a memorable experience.

Speaking of memorable, the most memorable day of the year for sports fans is almost among us as SuperBowl XLVII lies on February 3rd. As a Steelers fan, I’m caught in a standstill as to who I should root for with the 49ers going after their tying SuperBowl ring, yet the Ravens posses a murder…sorry Ravens fans, but its true, Ray Lewis doesn’t deserve the position he holds. For those I’ve offended, maybe I can make you feel better by informing you that according to a Madden NFL 2013 simulation, the Baltimore Ravens are to win the SuperBowl. Must say, while I despise the two teams competing, as a NFL fanatic, Sunday cannot come soon enough.

Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, despite PlayStation Vita’s poor track record up to this point, Killzone Mercenary looks to bring life back to the device delivering what’s said to be similar to a “portable Killzone 3”. Reportedly hosting an engine that is nearly 1:1 with the PS3 version containing gorgeous, clear and crispy textures, large draw distances, and a stable frame rate, could Killzone Mercenary be the first-person shooter owners of the PlayStation Vita have patiently waited for? I sure hope so, but only time will tell when it launches later this year.

Well that concludes today’s episode of Nick’s Gaming View but be sure to follow me on Twitter @NickMcCandless and check back daily for Nick’s Gaming View for your daily access pass to all things gaming.
