Bruce Willis' latest "Die Hard" tops box office

The fifth movie in the Bruce Willis "Die Hard" franchise scored the biggest box-office action over the U.S. holiday weekend, beating out love story "Safe Haven," which came in third.
"A Good Day to Die Hard," with Willis returning as the tenacious wise-cracking hero John McClane, pulled in 25 million dollars (USD) at U.S. and Canadian theaters from Friday through Sunday, according to studio estimates.
The tally was expected to approach $40 million through Monday, the Presidents Day holiday in the United States.
Last weekend's box-office winner, the Melissa McCarthy comedy "Identity Thief," stayed strong and ended up taking second place with 23.4 million.
"Safe Haven," an adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel that was aimed at luring couples during the week of Valentine's Day. The film pulled in 21.4 million over three days.
"Child's Pose", a Romanian drama about a domineering mother using her social position to try to save her son from jail, won the Golden Bear for best picture at the Berlin film festival on Saturday (February 16).
The movie had been among the favorites for the coveted prize.
London Fashion Week moved into full swing on Sunday (February 17, 2013), with fashion royalty including Vogue editor Anna Wintour in the British capital.
The 5-day-event sees buyers from across the globe and fashionistas trying to fit in as many catwalk shows as they can.
