Ultimate Spider-Man is another game in the long running Spidey series. This time, the game is set in the Ultimate universe, which brings with it the same art style Ultimate is known for. You control Spidey as he web-swings his way around NYC. There are street crimes happening all around and even more powerful villains causing problems for the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. While it is fun to swing around with the Ultimate graphics, the gameplay becomes tedious because you have to complete many side-missions before the fun parts are available. Being Spider-Man should never feel like a chore, but with the repetitive missions and combat, that is how the game feels more often than not.
