Just Game Play: Castlevania SOTN Via Xbox Live Arcade

Hey fellow retro heads, it's me again your retro brother Social Gamer with another game play commentary.
With the recent 3DS release of Castlevania Mirror Of Fate, I thought I'd reflect on another epic Castlevania title and talk a bit about what a great 2D platformer should be. Castlevania Symphony Of The Night was a changing point for the series and to me was the moment I truly fell in love with the franchise.
SOTN brought to the series robust exploration that wasn't ever part of the Castlevania series in the beginning when it first launched. It also brought magical abilities that helped you progress through the adventure and finally you got to play the role of someone other than a Belmont family member.
Symphony of the Night was and still is a masterpiece in 2D, Platforming and Adventure gaming history.
