Advance Wars: Days of Ruin review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for Nintendo DS developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, the only Advance Wars title not to be released in Japan, is a gritty, post-apocalyptic take on the classic Advance Wars action. But aside from the rather dramatic shift in tone, all of the hallmarks of the familiar series gameplay remain, save for some drastic readjustments of the CO Power system. But through the meteor-riddled debris and dire circumstances, it's still a tank-driving, artillery-placing, city-capturing Advance Wars, through and through.
