Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC developed by FROM SOFTWARE and published by Namco Bandai Games. In October of 2011, Dark Soul was unleashed on the world; mercilessly smearing players on the walls for the PS3 and Xbox. Surprisingly, PC gamers saw this masochistic nightmare and wanted in on the punishment. Well, a petition later and now Dark Souls has hit the PC; aptly dubbed the Prepare to Die Edition. The Prepare to Die Edition has a handful of new bosses added to the already obscene amount of fantastic boss encounters. Another addition is an arena with 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or 4 person free-for-all. The structured PvP system doesn't largely add or detract to the game; it's simply there for fun and bragging rights. The Prepare to Die Edition adds about 6 hours of overall extra content to that of its console counterparts, but any amount of new Dark Souls content is a welcome feature. This video review features video gameplay footage of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Steve.
