Shadows and Dust are a four-piece acoustic rock band based in Dublin. In recent months, the group have played gigs in venues such as Whelan's, The Sugar Club, The Village, The Odessa Club and Nighthawks at the Cobalt, as well as appearing on television (tg4's Pop4) and radio (RTÉ Radio 1 Arena). Heavily inspired by art, folklore, film and various other creative mediums, Shadows and Dust incorporate poetic lyrics and a truly unique sound into all of their musical output. Their captivating combination of guitar, strings, percussion and Kennedy's soulful voice results in a musical style that distinguishes them as a charismatic band that is difficult to compare to other current Irish groups.
