Boeing Releases Video Explaining Fix To 787 Dreamliner Smoldering Battery

Boeing finished their tests of the 787 Dreamliner with a final flight from Paine Field in Everett, Wash., at 11 a.m. Pacific time on Friday.The Dreamliner has been grounded since mid-January due to a problem with the batteries that caused them to smolder. Boeing's team says they have fixed the problems with the batteries, but a return to the air for the 787 is still dependent on approval from the Federal Aviation Administration.To accompany the end of their testing the company released a news-package-like video explaining the fixes they've made to the batteries that caused the grounding of their latest planes.
