Social Media Helps in Hunt for Boston Bombing Suspects

Social media played an integral role in the investigation and hunt for suspects after the Boston marathon bombings. Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and other networks lit up with photos and video in the hours and days following the deadly attack, and those postings helped investigators in their search for who was responsible. Patrick Jones says in some cases, social media leads to rumors spreading faster than ever.
