Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for Playstation 2 developed by SCE Bend Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror brings back the Syphon Filter series the way it should. You once again play as series hero Gabe Logan, as he sets out on another mission. The game is a stealth third person shooter, being able to be played either as just a shooter or a stealth game. There are some changes to the series, like the elimination of target lock for crosshairs. But the series also returns to its linear nature, which is when the series is at its best. The PS2 version of Dark Mirror has better graphics and controls, but the PSP version is still one of the best on that system.
