Release Date: Early 2015
A Ratchet & Clank animated feature film was announced in April 2013, with a planned release in 2015. The film is being developed by studios Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, along with partnerships from Sony Computer Entertainment and Insomniac Games. The film will be presented in 3D CGI, and will work with the in-game models during the pre-visualization stage to help block out the film. Insomniac’s writer, TJ Fixman, is writing the script, and Insomniac has confirmed that the three principle voice actors, James A. Taylor, David Kaye, and Jim Ward, will voice the main cast of Ratchet, Clank, and Qwark. Other voice talent is being explored.
