Scientists: All Red-Heads Related to Each Other, Carrot Top

A company called ScotlandsDNA claims that all people with the red hair gene can be traced back to the first person with that feature, meaning all people with red hair are at least loosely related. In an attempt to lessen the stigma and bullying associated with being a copper-top they've created a home DNA test so people can check if they carry the recessive gene. The hope is that someone who finds out they could have a red-head child, would be less likely to rip on people who do have Ronald McDonald colored hair. Patrick Jones has the story.
