Quake II review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Quake II for Nintendo 64 developed by ID Software and Raster Productions and Rogue Entertainment and published by Activision. Quake II changed the FPS genre and was then ported to the N64. This is Quake II in its entirety, which means it is a quality game. Quake II has the player taking control of a lone space marine that is sent to fight an upcoming alien invasion. The game is classic first person shooting, starting the player with a handgun and having them find more weapons. There are several different control schemes. The online multiplayer has been replaced with local multiplayer, due to the limitations of the console. This is the entirely of Quake II, only on the N64.
