It’s a random collection of random characters in a game that, in concept, seems completely and utterly random. But it does work, and brilliantly so. Poker Night 2 is just a poker game, but it has as much character as you’ve ever seen in a video game. Sit around the table with Brock Samson, Sam and Max, Ash Williams and Claptrap as GLaDOS deals the cards. Seriously. And it’s even more hilarious than it sounds. Play Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha as these hysterically mish-mashed personalities interact and try to steal each other’s money. If you’re looking for a game with personality, look no further than Poker Night 2.
