Great Events Of Sikh History - Attack On Nadar Shah - Battle Of Afghanistan - Khalsa Raj

1. 1723 - Jassa Singh Ramgharia was born.
He was an accomplished scholar of weaponry and an effortful individual.
He was a practicing Gurbani enthusiast, partaker of food only after serving others and a brave warrior.
He took part in the Khalsa battle against Ahmed Shah Duranni.

2. 1739 - Sikh Attacked Nadar Shah on his return trip to Persia and rescued a large amount of booty and thousands of captive Hindu women.

3. 1834 - Khalsa forces conquered Peshawar and extended Khalsa Raj up to Jamraud, Afghanistan.
Kanwar Naunihal Singh and Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa conquered Peshawar and extended the territory of Khalsa Raj up to Afghanistan.

4. 1948 - Patiala and east Punjab States Union (PEPSLI) was formed.
