In the LM P1 privateer class, the fight raged between the No.13 Rebellion and the Strakka No. 21. At 20:00, there was concern in the French camp as Alpine No. 36 went off the track and left behind debris requiring the intervention of the Safety Car. At 20:30 a new turn of events: the Lotus 32 loses its rear bodywork on the Mulsanne straight. Meanwhile, the duel between Aston and Porsche keeps its promise, as is also the case in LM P1 where the gap between the leading car and its competitors is no more than 14 seconds.
