Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers occupies a strange place within the series: It contains all the hallmarks of a "Final Fantasy" title, like the creatures and tribes and a Moogle named Stiltzkin, yet it plays, acts, and feels nothing like any Final Fantasy before or since. The Crystal Bearers is scarcely an RPG, but every inch an action game, with ever-changing mechanics and quicktime events and run-and-gun combat. Run-and-gun combat that involves grabbing whatever's nearby and flinging it into enemies using a combination of Wii motion controls and telekinesis.
