Music games happened some time ago, led by Konami and Harmonix and the like... and that particular genre's lain fallow for some time now. Into the void steps Hatsune Miku, Japan's most popular vocalist who doesn't exist. She's just a computer program, twisted and adapted by the particular tastes and proclivities of amateur musical producers. With 40 tracks spanning from soul to techno, and the rest of the Vocaloid family as supporting characters, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F provides not only a rhythm/music revival but an extensively detailed edit suite. (Useful if you need a respite from the rather extreme difficulty of the main game.) This video review features video gameplay footage of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for PS3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
