Milon's Secret Castle typifies the NES experience: What exposition there is takes place mostly in the manual and/or blurbs on the box itself, the gameplay elements that are apparent don't make all that much sense on their own (like bubbles defeating enemies and blowing away chunks of wall and floor in many places), and the ultimate goal is the liberation of some spirited-away important person who's in quite a bit of peril. Fortunately, Milon's assisted by a mysterious shopkeeper who pops up in the strangest of places, as well as... boxing gloves that make him shrink?
