Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Breath of Fire for Game Boy Advance, developed and published by Capcom.
Breath of Fire was Capcom's first foray into RPGs, way back on the Super Nintendo... a genre so dominated by Squaresoft that they, in fact, handled the game's US release and translation. While it was outside of their wheelhouse, Breath of Fire managed to develop a cult following, despite the overpopulation of RPGs on that particular console. And while the series fizzled out on the PlayStation, the rise of the Game Boy Advance gave a new generation of gamers a chance to experience not burning in a fire because you're turned to stone.
