Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of BurgerTime for the Nintendo Entertainment System developed and published by Data East. Peter Pepper is just minding his own business, trying to assemble giant hamburgers by walking on top of the ingredients, when he’s ruthlessly attacked by sentient snack foods and condiments. Looks, there’s really no way to describe BurgerTime without it sounding weird, so just go with it. The arcade classic comes to the NES, where arcade classics didn’t always prosper. That’s no different with this one, but BurgerTime is at least a decent port on the NES. Players must avoid the ravenous hot dogs, which might be have the best enemy AI in gaming history, while walking over buns and patties to create the ultimate hamburgers. Hopefully, Peter at least washed his feet first. This video feature features video gameplay footage of BurgerTime for the Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
